As you can see, this price structure compares very well with the competition.
And even if I do not see a lot of ActiveCampaign discounts, if you choose to pay each year, you can save a little more.
As mentioned above, ActiveCampaign does not charge unsigned contacts, and only one contact in multiple lists is counted as one subscriber.

Even if they are not as complete as MailChimp, all popular combinations are covered, including WordPress, Shopify, PayPal, and Facebook. Unless you have an obscure configuration, ActiveCampaign’s suite of integrations is likely to meet your needs.
The recent addition of CRM to ActiveCampaign can help you automate the sales process and generate leads along your pipeline to close more deals.
CRM works through drag-and-drop and has a similar presentation to Trello. You can organize leads at different stages of your marketing pipeline (customizable). For example, your pipeline may be called “Company Disclosure,” which includes the “To Contact,” “In Contact,” and “Follow-up.” You may build as many pipelines as you want.
Leads can be created manually, but if you want to optimize your output, you need to use the automation feature. Leads can be added, updated, moved, and prioritized in your CRM automatically according to various criteria. For instance, if a recipient clicks on a specific link in your email, it can be added as a lead.
CRM also includes a score component, which allows you to assign a score to each prospect. This is useful to ensure that you are targeting the most relevant leads with the highest chance of conversion, allowing you to deploy your resources properly.

My only disappointment is that you have to switch to a Plus account to automatically add subscribers to a custom audience.
For maximum reuse, you can even have automation for other automation.

Although less powerful than the ConvertKit automation workflow editor, it’s effortless to use. You can also split test automation, which allows you to improve each step of your automation workflow.

This type of plan allows you to create the most common automation workflows. Its price is comparable to less powerful solutions such as Aweber and MailChimp.
But if you are a big company and are looking for an InfusionSoft-like alternative with more robust features, such as a sales pipeline or CRM, ActiveCampaign can handle this with their more expensive plans. So, there is something for everyone.
ActiveCampaign has a 30% standard recurring commission program found on other email services. But some reasons set them apart from other similar affiliate programs.
First, the fact that you can share automation is a high selling point for anyone trying ActiveCampaign using the affiliate link. It let you provide incredible value and create an advantage for you and your referrals.
The second reason I like to promote ActiveCampaign as an affiliate is that it offers more expensive packages for big business. This means you can earn massive commissions with only a few referrals.
Another nice feature of ActiveCampaign that I like is the ability to resubmit your campaigns.
Let’s say you have a campaign that has worked well. However, in the three months, since it was sent, you may have added thousands of new subscribers to your list.
Well, ActiveCampaign allows you to resubmit this campaign only to new contacts who have joined the group since the initial release. Your contacts who have seen your campaign will no longer receive it.
ActiveCampaign also allows you to send broadcast emails to contacts who have not opened their original email. The trick here is to resubmit your campaign but use a different subject line. Since they did not open your email in the first place, they never saw the content, and you can keep it.
There are many obvious reasons why someone may not have already opened your email, and this referral option allows you to expand your reach by targeting it.
If you plan to use ActiveCampaign for affiliate marketing purposes, you may need to think twice. They have a fairly strict policy on overly promotional emails that refer directly to affiliate products. So, I would stay away from ActiveCampaign in general if you do any solo ads or plan to promote WarriorPlus, JVZoo, and ClickBank type offers.
However, you can still promote affiliate offers indirectly. Use a story-based approach to your emails and promote affiliate products indirectly through intermediate pages or blog posts. I did it, and it worked well.
ActiveCampaign is full of features. Therefore, learning all these features will undoubtedly require a learning curve. Fortunately, it has a well-documented knowledge base. Thus, if you want to browse the documentation, it will help you speed up.
The live chat feature is also handy, and I found their support technicians very knowledgeable to explain the technical issues I encountered when building my automation.
When you want to choose an email service provider, you will have many options. So how does ActiveCampaign compare to some of the other popular autoresponders?
Based on my experience, very well, indeed.
With its marketing automation capabilities, it’s the most powerful email service provider I’ve ever tried.
Aweber, which is still a viral messaging provider for bloggers and marketers, currently supports very simplistic automation.
ConvertKit has an excellent automation editor and, in some ways, is more beautiful than ActiveCampaign. However, one of the limitations I found in ConvertKit automation is that some of the list cleanup actions I would like to perform are missing.
Still, it’s not a wrong choice, either. ConvertKit also allows you to do cool things with your automation, and the learning curve is shorter compared to ActiveCampaign. Depending on your needs, it can provide everything you need in a very sophisticated package.
However, ActiveCampaign shines with its power and flexibility.
And then there is the price. ActiveCampaign is genuinely one of the most affordable messaging providers on the market. It’s cheaper than Aweber and even cheaper than MailChimp on most levels.

Now that we have talked about all the different features of ActiveCampaign, evaluated the pros and cons, and provided my experience, let’s talk about you.

ActiveCampaign is hard to fault; not only do they offer almost everything you need in a newsletter marketing platform, but they do it very well. Reports provide information on almost every facet, such as page visits, geographic tracking, openings, e-commerce, and more. One of the missing areas is the newsletter publisher, which does not offer an experience as intelligent as the other tools on the market, with some features that could be better.
Support is as advertised: fast, friendly, and helpful. The support by e-mail and chat is excellent, with a personal touch in the communications. Your knowledge base is easily searchable and returns relevant results in a high percentage of the time. With the “Plus” plan, you always have access to one-on-one training and useful webinars, which is an excellent addition.
ActiveCampaign is one of the best choices you can make if you are looking for a multifunctional marketing tool for newsletters. Their automation is very high and makes the version of the other tools pale in comparison. You will have to be willing to spend some time and maybe spend a little more cash, but your business will reap the rewards. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a simple way to broadcast newsletters, a solution like GetResponse or MailerLite can be a little easier to understand.
